Just finished the Barrage Fuzz. It was harder to fit in the 1590a, but positioning the audio jacks and using 9mm pots helped a lot. Tried to first fit it in the enclosure with the components facing the top/pots, but that was rough. Looking up @OD is Glorious posts, I positioned the board component side down/away from pots and just barely fit it in there. Had to use electrical tape around the inside of the enclose so the PCB wouldn’t short to ground when touching it.
Overall, easy build (besides fitting it in a 1590a) and sounds better than I expected. It’s very full and adjustable with very little feedback noise. Not my favorite fuzz, but definitely good and usable.
I’m fitting fuzzes in 1590a enclosures to fit on my pedalboard where a strip can’t fit 125bs. I’m not sure if I’ll put decals on it yet or not, I still have to play around with that. Finishing up a Copper Clad (waiting on a transistor I overlooked purchasing) and Sandspur is after that.
