I built one of these for a fellow TGP member about a month ago and worked on my own when I had the time in the period since.
I used some NOS stuff, not for mojo, but simply for the hFE and Vf values they provided. I went with a set of transistors at 184 hFE and Vf on the diodes matched to about 640 mV.
It sounds incredible and I’ll try to do a demo this week with some The Wall riffs.
One thing that came out of this design is that I’ll be redesigning around a Mids Knob instead of the switch. With that said, the switch is very powerful by itself and I really like the flat setting. Having the bypass switch mounted directly to the board really saves time on the build and makes it very clean
