buffer or not to buffer - how to add a simple buffer to pedal? jacks?

how to add a simple buffer to pedal? jacks?
mainly from the buffer, im wanting to eliminate switch popping on and off.

Adding a buffer doesn't automatically stop switch-popping.

There are threads on switch-popping; do a little spelunking in the forum and you'll find some Bypass-LED-issues causing the popping. Sometimes adding a pull-down resistor on the output of a circuit will stop the popping. Sometimes it's the next pedal in the chain... and other reasons.
