I'm into it, but dang, 12 controls. I'm assuming this thing is all SMD and doing a DIY through-hole copy might require a big enclosure. Curiosity piqued, nonetheless!

From the pics it looks like the Mids and Gain knobs aren't stacked, so it's "only" ten controls lol

So it's got HF and LF filters before gain, then the 3-bad EQ after, then the "Deep" and "Presence" after that - that's a *lot* of shaping.

I wonder how complex or not the noise gate is; is it VCA-based, or is it like the coring circuit in Amptweaker and Peavey stuff?

So the Valhalla also has a 3-band EQ followed by "Deep" and "Presence" controls. It fits in a 1590BB.

If the HF and LF filters aren't too big (and they shouldn't be) and the noise gate is just a small coring circuit, I wonder if the Chug could fit in a 1590BB too?

The Valhalla also has a charge pump that I don't think the Chug has, so that should make more room.

I suspected the gate would be 4305-based, we should be able to use the 4301 retrofit module.

You won't easily get that into a 125B, but that was already assumed because of the number of controls.

I agree, you may need Vertical Daughter Boards for the Concentric pots In a 1590BBM.
So your saying you would have 10 pots on a 1590BB?

I did 8 and 9 knobs in "portrait" 1590BBs already. Concentric pots are a PITA to get knobs for.
