My Nobelium has been my go to pre for a while now and I did not build this with the intent to replace it. I look at the nobelium as a platform for my pedals while I probably won't be attaching the Steddi to a board. Maybe a mini rig in the future but my goal is for a more minimalist recording situation and I think keeping this stuffed in my p bass case would be an excellent one handed grab and go. I have only played it a little over the last couple weeks but it gives a nice tubey sumpin (in the parlance of @MichaelW ) to the signal without a bunch of controls to wreck it with over thinking.

The build went smoothly as per usual. Another tip of the hat to @vigilante398 for blessing us bass dorks with so many of these projects. Looking forward to the Tungsten that's on my bench right now.

I'm loving this golden water texture from tayder. It's really sparkly compared to the other metallic colors. I was worried because I usually hate gold but my curiosity paid off. I hope they do a whole spectrum of water texture finishes.

Man that looks sweet!

I've been avoiding the C2CE sub-forum 'cause I don't want another costly tube project (need to finish up several others first)...
Didn't even know there was a Steddi Go! Your build makes me wonder what else I've been missing out on lately?

Gold... how apt your project is, as it's going to cost me some.
