This is the last of my “exotic” enclosure colors so to speak. It’s the Cosmic Lilac from Stompboxparts. This is the Cadmium Fuzz/Distortion based of the Danelectro Nichols ‘66. They really released a group a cool pedals and this one is no exception. It has a little bit of everything. Fuzz, distortion, some octave-ish type tones sometimes. The switch is a mid boost to help cut through the mix. Just a good all rounder. For some reason I started playing Lenny Kravitz “I want to get away” right when I started playing the pedal and I didn’t even know how to play the song it just came out. This is probably the fuzz for those that don’t like the classic fuzzes or that think the classics are too much! Very easy build it took very little time so it’s great for a beginner.
Knobs are some I got off Ali Express for like 5 for $1.25 or something. Kinda wish they were a tad bigger but I’m just being picky. I originally bought 5 for my Pelota build, when I build it, so we’ll see if they stay. Learned how @MichaelW does his buss wire from board to daughter board so easily so thanks for that! What I did learn in the process of that was that I should wire the jack in and outs wires FIRST when the board and switch are so close together because I like to never got them in. Got the first one in but had to switch to solid core wire for the second. Other than that it was straight forward. Time to decide what’s next!
