SOLVED Caesar chorus ground issue?

I just finished my caesar and a cepheid this weekend. The cephied it totally quiet but the caesar has a little but of noise when engaged. Kind of some fuzzy antenna noise and when I touch any metal parts like foot switch, toggle switch or input output jacks the pedal gets quieter and then gets louder when I let go... I've check ICs, loose wires... just wondering if anyone has any tips?

Thanks, Lee 20221220_132102.jpg 20221220_132131.jpg

Could be a ground issue, it looks like the enclosure was not masked when powder coating, there looks like a lot of paint on under the i/o jacks. I’d try removing the jacks and sanding or scraping some of the paint off to ensure your jacks are making good contact with the enclosure.

Ahhh totally could be the issue! I'll sand the Jack's and switch and hopefully that's the issue. Thanks!!

I also have a sacrificial screw that I partially put in enclosures before I paint them, that way there’s a good contact with the bottom plate (note, you should also mask off some of the countersink area on one of the plate corners, making sure it’s the correct corner).

I got this enclosure prepainted from Tayda but you guys are right... I'll need to sand/prep the enclosure next time to make sure it has good grounding if I go this route again.
