SOLVED Caesar Chorus loss of gain at full blend

I appreciate any guidance you all can provide! Just assembled the Caesar chorus. With trim ad 50% and blend at 50% I am getting a chorus sound that sounds good, though may be input signal heavy. When I up the blend to go towards the vibrato only (CW), the signal drops out. Trim needs to be in a fairly narrow band around 50% or signal will drop out. When trim is turned to 0% (full CCW), there is a loud pop. LEDs, Rate and depth seem to be working correctly, as well as the shape switch. Unsure about lag as I haven’t been able to really hear it. All pots have covers.

Any thoughts on where to look? New to troubleshooting these things as most of my previous build have gone smoothly or were obvious fixes.

Your clipping LED's are missing. Also, try setting the BBD trimmer somewhere in the middle to start
Thank you so much. well that explains why the LEDs were listed separately on the build sheet, where they arent on others. A coincidence there were two LED so I didn’t think it through. Not sure how I missed the empty holes.

Are these just regular LED like you would use for the indicators? Do they have to be red?

Red leds will probably be your best bet... the internal trim pot is merely just to find the sweet spot where its chorusing.. too much CCW and it doesn't do the thing.. too much CW and it doesn't do the thing.... you have to find the sweet spot and it's a narrow band.... once you get it set you don't mess with it again...

Awesome. Thank you!
