Caesar Chorus v2 - Shape Toggle Not Working?

Hello! Just built Caesar v2. It sounds good, but the Shape toggle doesn't seem to effect the sound in any way. What it does is turn on/off the D1 and D2 LEDs. What are those for? Any ideas on what to check first?

Also for the trimpot, it seems to turn the effect off and on, so I'm not exactly sure what I am supposed to tweak with that.

I'm happy with the overall sound I have now, but just wondering what I might be missing?

Did you ever figure this out? I have the same issue and cant figure out why the pedal works amazing except the toggle does nothing.. It turns off the red leds , maybe its so subtle I just cant hear the difference but I think it should be a big change

I think that's just the way it is. Saw some people on Reddit saying the same thing. I guess on the Julius it's very subtle too.
I personally can't hear it at all. Other than that it's great though!

If I recall correctly, there's a thread around here where it's recommended those LEDs be replaced with some capacitors for better shaping.
