Did this build a while ago but decided to redo the label in the weekend since my design skills have got a bit better since my first attempt

I used my band logo figuring it will impress any pedal nerds who bother to lean over and have a look :)

The extra switch chooses between stock diodes and Russian germaniums. The fwd voltage on the ge's is ~300mv. It is a bit more open and less compressed in this mode. More of a feel thing to be honest but it's a nice option to have

I love this circuit, Tom Cram is a genius in my eyes

Thanks, I actually paid a designer for the graphic to use as a band logo. I used a drop shadow filter to print it in "white" onto the enclosure

The background pattern is a photo of some frog spawn I got from Google Images

This is the guy who drew the image: David Hüttner

I sent him an episode of Trapdoor to use as a style/mood reference:

His first image was the one we used. He said "I'm just trying some ideas, how do you like this?" and it was perfect, no revisions. So it was an easy job for him

This was pre-covid, and weirdly as an image it ended up being quite prescient. Shame all of our gigs were cancelled haha
