Carcass low volume/thin sound

My in-progress Carcass build isn't very loud. I did read this thread but 1) mine definitely sounds fuzzy, just very low in volume and thin and 2) my build has the 220k R14 on a switch for optional octave up which DOES appear to be working.



Thanks in advance to anyone offering insight. Here's the enclosure so far
