Here's my finished Cast Iron, which I became interested in last Fall after seeing some good reviews.
I like my 2006 Timmy so a "Timmy" with an added mid control sounded like a great idea. And that's pretty much what I am seeing with this. If all the EQ knobs are more or less at noon, with the gain almost all the way down, it's pretty transparent like the Timmy is.
The EQ knobs are pretty powerful their cutting and boosting.
I thought it has less gain than I remember about my Timmy so I got it out and it I was wrong. My Cast Iron is about the same, maybe a little less gain when both have the Gain knobs cranked. I guess I would say it's a low-mid range gain OD pedal. l Also I discovered that it sounds good with everything maxed!
Finally I stole the look from @MichaelW who's build report on the Cast Iron was the first I read.
