Simple. Nasty. Gated. Heavy.

Not a whole lot to say about this circuit, other than it does the thing and it does it well. It has a very heavy 90s alt rock kinda feel to me when the the choke is dialed down. Tales to palm muting well, but isn't effected too much by other pick dynamics. Its a ton of fun to just plug in and riff

I've modified mine by replacing R1 (100k) with a 1M pot and 10k resistor to add the choke pot. This effects the impedance and gating of the circuit, from relatively heavy and open to absolutely no sustain.

@Aleph Null's Design notes, though mine is a new revision

Man...I need to be playing in drop A! I'm working on a deluxe version of sorts that includes a gate control (similar to choke). I debated for a long time which way to wire it. I think I may have made the wrong choice.

P.S. "One Trick Pony" always make me think of this video:

How many tricks may your pony do?!

You need a design called the Plastics and Glues on the Hooves
