Chaos Audio?

Anybody try this? The commercial is a bad rip off of Dollar Shave Club and it's hard to trust any business with a Kickstarter/ GoFundMe. I also think people in general prefer the tactile feel of knobs vs. Controlling pedals with a touchscreen.

Didn't Mooer already come out with something like this too?

I was thinking, my ideal would be smart pots/stomp switches. You adjust a pedal, it uploads to a smart phone or PC. Then you can save settings by pedal and BY SONG for all your analog pedals. It would be great for on stage gigs, even setup a song list so you could click on next song and all the pedals are exactly where you want.

I didn't watch the video. I don't like FB. I visit my friends pages once a month just to say hi, but eschew the rest of the shenanigans.....

chaos sounds like an odd name for a computerized *anything*

I've got a few emails from them in the last few days saying I signed up for their mailing list. TBH I have no memory of that so I'm interested in where they would've got my address and/or what I would've signed up for that gave it to them.....

In any case it does look pretty cool in principle but I agree: I like having physical knobs over controlling stuff via touchscreen. $400 is kind of steep for that too IMO. Seems kind of like a touchscreen version of a Zoom Multistomp or TC Toneprint pedal...

The small form factor is really nice. And admittedly I haven't listened to it yet. So maybe it sounds better. But if it sounds comparable and you're not concerned about space, for instance...the TC Plethora x3 is cheaper and can run three effects at once. the X5 is slightly more expensive but of course can run five. So, I dunno...
