Chauffeur 1n5231/1n4733a?

Hello all,

Chauffeur calls for a 1n5231 5v2 zener. All I have at the moment is a 1n4733a 5v1 zener. Would that be an acceptable substitute in this circuit or does it have to be exactly 5v2 zener? How would it affect the circuit?

Also, in reference to 1n5242b 12v, could I replace with a 1n4742a 12v?

Those are both acceptable substitutes, they'll just be a little larger since they're 1W instead of 1/2W.

1N5231 should have been listed as 5.1V anyway.
