Have only played with this a few min. I like it. I can't help but wonder if these pedals will sound different through an amp. I am using Helix native through an interface because my pre-ordered amp is still sitting in a port. From what little time I spent with this, I can see the appeal. It doesn't massively change your tone but it does enhance it. I did run into issues with the stupid jacks I bought the 2nd time around. I put one in and decided to go back to the other because I was struggling to get the plasticy one to stay fastened.
