Split the input so the audio runs through a SHO (Moonn hard boost), retaining as clear a signal as possible. Put pin 8 of the 386 on a toggle switch for gain of 20 or 200. The input of the 386 still comes directly from the guitar. Otherwise, built to the doc
If I were to do this again, I'd either look for a different preamp, or put a booster after it. The stock blend control sucks quite a bit of output on the middle regions of the pots rotation
