Closed Circuit Booster - No Sound when Activated

Third Age Amps

New member
Hello All,

I recently finished the CC Booster and am curious if the type of Opto matters? I used a VTL5C1 rather than the NSL-32. Regardless, bypass works, but very low to no sound when activated.

Thanks all!

Just Google audio probe and it will come up with tons of options. They can be made with spare parts you probably already have or can get fairly easily along with a guitar cord you don't mind sacrificing. Its a pretty useful tool if you are going to continue building pedals.

Ok, found a cold solder joint in one of the chip sockets. All fixed and working.

does anyone know how the limiter control is supposed to change the sound? If anything, it’s subtle from what I’m hearing.
