I've never owned a Blues Driver before. I tend to prefer my dirt a bit grittier but I've committed to learning some Blues licks this year and this just seemed like a must... this one sounds great
It's a real pain in the ass, there are like 10-15 steps that you HAVE to get right or the whole thing is a mess.
And that's just to get the the etching done. I've just figured out some post-etching polishing and finishing processes that make the designs pop much better.
And did I mention it is insanely toxic and dangerous. "Irreversible damage to mucus membranes" was my favorite quote from the Muriatic Acid bottle.
I have since figured out a method for using Ferric Chloride that is much safer, but you still have to watch everything carefully during the etching process.
I've watched lots of YouTube vids and read web pages and have worked out most of the kinks,
