Crackle Jack 2nd output?

Hello!

So I have a Crackle Jack pcb that I'd really like to add a 2nd output to for a tuner. Back in the day I used to have an original Zvex SHO that I'd use for this and I'd love to do the same with this Crackle Jack if possible.

The Crackle Jack IS supposed to be a SHO clone right? Only with the addition of a master volume?

Would anyone happen to have a diagram to show how to add the 2nd parallel output?

Thanks!

Hello there, Have try to do it ? I'm currently building one myself and I really d'like the second output. I've seen a gut shot of a original one and it looks simply like both output are wired the same. Anyone has hint on this ? Thanks !

It'll work but the addition of the volume control makes the output impedance higher than the stock SHO.

Probably not a huge issue for most situations like feeding a tuner.

Higher output impedance implies not using long cables, and for this situation the capacitance of *both* cables will contribute to high frequency rolloff. (Unless you buffer the outputs.)
