D&M Drive

I will say Rabea could take a few notes from Andy's demos.

The more-than-5 minutes of Rabea talking at the beginning of the vid literally — I mean LITERALLY — put me to sleep last night. Well actually...

'Twas really 4 in the morning, so the vid did a good thing because I had insomnia up 'til then and attempting to watch the demo I finally got to sleep!


So Rabea, if you see this post: Please, in future demos, play some guitar right away, then break down the pedal's functions interspersed with more guitar playing. However, please do keep this D&M video up, so when I next have insomnia...

Now to rewatch the bits with guitar-playing...
 
I don't know what is really different about the Klon in the D+M drive but it's the best Klon I have tried. The OCD side not so much. I'd actually build just the D+M Klon side! I have built loads of various Klons but the D+M version is the best for me.

Maybe it was just the colour of the enclosure.
 
I’ve always been curious exactly what changes Keeley made for this pedal as well because both sides sound different than any of the Klones I’ve played as well as the various OCD circuit variations I’ve owned/tried. I love the OCD circuit. I like the klon as a clean boost… I just don’t like the gain turned up on a Klon! Doesn’t sound natural But this sounds pretty good.
 
I haven't tried the D&M drive but whenever I hear it on TPS I always like the way it sounds. I thought there was a PCB for this somewhere? Did I dream it?
