So, after finishing Trahald, I figured I should finish the big brother: Gollum. Much like the Trahald, this build went together pretty quickly. I went with all top jacks, which maybe wasn't the best idea. I should have given a little more space up top for the first row of knobs which would have given more space for the power jack. Live and learn.
This was a special build because it was one where my 10 year old daughter wanted to help, so she soldered and heat shrunk all the jacks. Also, since she helped, she got to sign the back of the pedal too. Which she thought was way cooler than anything else.
Sounds wise, I think I like this one a little more than Trahald. It's a little more raw and fun. Of course, it cleans up nicely but I enjoy fuzzes that can go from clean to chaotic quickly.
