Deadend FX F1sh Light Question

The schematic is at the bottom. I have a feeling there are some errors in it though because the LEDs are labeled different than the board. Minor stuff but I'm not sure if there's anything more major. Anyway, the LED that is not the bypass LED just stays lit. Is it supposed to flash or something? Any idea what it's supposed to do and how to fix it?

Thanks!

If you’re referring to D6 it looks like it’s a led that should turn on and off with the LFO speed? It sounds like your LFO is not working? Please post clear pics of front and back of your board and all soldered connections.

The RefDes on the schematic doesn't match the PCB.

Unless I'm mistaken:
R31 / D6 on the PCB = R32/D5 on the schematic
R13 / D7 on the PCB = R31/D6 on the schematic
R21 / D5 on the PCB = R34/D7 on the schematic

D6, the upper LED, is not switched by the footswitch. It should blink with the LFO regardless of whether the pedal is active or bypassed.

thank you. that was my guess too. the bypass led works now. I had to rewire it to get it to work. the effect sounds good I think I'm not sure what the second footswitch does but it sounds cool.

the third led isn't on the board I think. I only saw 2 LEDs .

ignore all the weird wiring. I messed up the LED pads trying different things to get them to work and the layout you see gets me to where I am today.

the LFO led stays on all the time. it might be blinking very fast but that might be my imagination. the bypass led finally works in this configuration. and like I said, the effect seems to work. I need to compare it closer to a recording to see how different if anything.

I had another circuit with a similar problem with the LFO light that was fixed with a resistor across the led legs. it was just flashing too fast to be detectable and hoping this is a similar situation 🤞

of course. the effect seems to work right. I have no idea what the 2nd footswitch does but it seems to do something. bypass light works now. just can't get the LFO light to blink. the schematic has a 3rd led which I don't think is on the board. I was probably supposed to off board one for the 2nd footswitch maybe. I can add that in later but the LFO light needs to dance first.

thank you
