Debugging 3 way selector on a guitar

I have a Epiphone Joe Pass guitar that I suspect has a bad three way selector. The guitar doesn't always send a signal down the cable but sometime jiggling the selector switch will temporarily fix the issue. I opened it up to take a look:

The solder connections look solid to me. I have inspected a lot of the but it looks like the outer plates are warped outward so the never make contact with the middle plate.

I'm guessing the easiest solution is to replace i. Any other thing it may be?
Thanks as always

every time ive had an issue with a 3 way switch in an LP style guitar the switch was never the issue.

whoever makes these fuggen things never leaves enough clearance between the switch terminals and the cover plate.
the cover plate is often covered in conductive foil.
if there's not enough clearance, switch contacts can short out on that plate.
