Today’s build you ask? Secondhand Glitter (deflector reverb). Long story short, a friend asked yesterday if I had a reverb for a gig tomorrow night. I told him I had a few. A 1 knob a 2 knob and maybe a 6 knob. Two are Belton bricks and then I have had this fv-1 in my que. I decided to put it together this morning so he could have a 6 knob to try. Let me say when I fired it up, wow. This thing is cool. I did a few harmonics and all I could see in my head was the water drop scene from the original Dune (if you know you know). 6 knobs may be a little much but in just the few minutes I had to run it through some tests I was impressed. Very cool reverb. IMG_5143.jpeg

I like that it doesn’t sound like every brick reverb. It seems like no matter which one you build when you hear it you immediately know it’s a brick, lol. I assume it’s the modulation. It’s nice to have a different flavor so to speak. It’s very pristine.

Very cool design. The Deflector is still the longest running pedal on my board. It and a Nova Delay ran thru the loop of my 6505mh for years and currently run thru the loop of my Amped 2. It looks nowhere near as cool as yours though...
