Depot Fuzz Build

Nice Fuzz circuit! I've been looking for a fuzz circuit with a little versatility and this one has it. The voice and tone knobs are nice and give a nice range of tone. Needed to work out a few graphics idea for a parallel build I did for my daughter. A friend I work with had a box of electronics laying around from a class he took when in college and threw them at me. Had 3 NOS 2N2222A transistors in the and a CA3080 op amp, and a few other niceties. So 2 of the 2N2222A's are in this circuit and it sounds great! Its got a great fuzz sound and responds to the volume knob on the guitar like a fuzz should. I put it in a 1590B with side jacks, personal preference on that, fits nicely!

Any chance you could post a sound sample? I’ve built two of these now (and the Effects Layouts CLV) and they just don’t sound good, certainly not like the Terminal Fuzz. I‘m using 2N2222A transistors from Tayda and everything else is per the BOM. Clearly I‘m doing something wrong, but I’m thinking maybe not and it just sounds like it sounds. Cheers.
