DIgitech X-Series PCB button footswitch = normally open or normally closed?

I'm doing a rehouse of a Digitech CF-7 Chorus Factory and It'll include removing the button footswitch on the PCB and wiring in an enclosure-mounted SPST momentary footswitch. I need to verify if the button switch on the PCB is NO or NC. That will tell me if I have to order a switch (I have NO's, but no NC's). Any info helps. THANKS

Bypass switches are almost always normally open. There would have to be something very strange going on for it to be normally closed.
