Distortion 250 build finished (almost!)

I used 1n4148s for the clipping diodes and a 100k log pot for volume, everything else matched the build docs. Using a 1M log pot for the drive pot resulted in almost no distortion until the pot was 95% of the way through the sweep, then it came on like a real mf. Someone else posted they used a c100k and that fixed the taper issue for them. I just read that DOD was using c500k pots at some point, so I'm going to order some of those and see how that works out.

Overall, I dig how it sounds and how it turned out aesthetically. The wiring is a bit of a mess because I opted to cram it into a spare 1590b enclosure and do a little creative knob arranging.

Looks good! For the gain pot, go with a C500K, works great! That's what a lot of the originals had in them.
