Distortion 250 volume pot replacement?

The volume pot on the distortion 250 uses an A10K potentiometer but it doesn't hit unity until like 2 or 3 o'clock. Would a B10K make it a more gradual transition or any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Yes. Won't make it any louder. B10K will just seem louder because the knob will be in a different position.
