Im wonder if I Need a buffer, My pedalboard has grown a lot.

Guitar - > Dunlop wah bass -> musicom efx looper... I enter in the buffer input of the musicom

Inside the Music I have this: boss cs3, joyo Taichi, mesa flux five, joyo Uzi, nux xtc, Moore black secret, eventide time factor, eventide space...

In output of the musicom I was thinking to put a Bbe sonic stomp, and after that put the buffer...

What Do you think?

If you don’t notice any tone loss (high roll off like when turning the tone down), you probably don’t need one. Given the long pedal chain, it’s possible for that to happen when all pedals are off. Adding a buffer at the beginning of the chain fixes that. Now if the Boss pedals are at the beginning, they are already doing that job so you won’t notice a difference. Try removing all Boss (and other buffered bypass pedals, eg, Klon) and see if you notice a difference. I have a chain of non buffered bypass pedals (Octron3, Neutrino, Steak and eggs, Gladio) and then a Soul Food (with buffer on) and I barely notice a difference if I put a buffer at the very beginning. There is just a slight loss with my P90s guitar, but not regular single coils. To fix that, I use the MVP at the very front.
