My build of the PPCB Double Tap Fuzz. Compared to the rare EQD Zap Machine v2. Made it exact to the BOM except I could only get my hands on 2N1308 tranaistors. I only had a few so I used the one with the lowest hFe and leakage. Still around 110 hFe instead of the suggested of around 40. I socketed it so when I come across some more ideal transistor I can easily swap.
I totally messed up cutting the decal and I got streaks from my crappy inkjet but I still slapped it on there. It's bush league but it's only for my collection so whatever.
Also, big thanks to @steviejr92 for hooking me up with the drill guide that he used on his awesome build. Check it out if you haven't. Also for answering my newbie questions.
It's a fun one to add to my fuzz collection but I just don't think it's reached its true potential. I will be trying out some more transistors to find that sweet spot to my ears.
