Duck Box Envelope Filter

Everybody needs an envelope filter in their arsenal. So I decided to build the Duck Box. I don't find the sound with the blend disengaged all that usable. It would have been great if the peak could be adjusted. Also, when built as specified in the build doc, you had to send a pretty hot signal into it for it for the envelope follower to respond. I did some reading on other forums and found something on freestompboxes.org that talked about the value of C10. A similar circuit based on the WR3 Wah Rocker had the value of that cap at 22n. So I changed C10 from 2.2n to 22n and the responsiveness changed dramatically.

I'm trying to figure out how to do a clean blend so it can be used for bass. I asked in another post if I can simply replace the toggle switch with a pot? I know the switch puts a 47n cap into the circuit. Maybe that can be omitted? I'd love to know other's thoughts on that.

You may have seen from some of my other builds that I'm using the Tayda Winked Silver finish 125B enclosure. I really like the look of it. It looks great when using clear decals.

Enough of this. Here's some images.
