This circuit has been designed by N. Williams from Dunwich Amplification. The PCB is available at Godcity Instruments or as a kit at Musikding.
I got my minimum order of 3 PCBs from Osh Park, right after Mr. Dunwich released some circuits on Osh. Things got moved to Godcity a while after that.
So, I already built 2 of those a few years ago and this last one was sitting populated in a drawer ... until recently.
It's described as "a high-gain bass dirt box inspired by the Boss ODB-3, but with the addition of a switchable frequency mid-control, fixed EQ bypass, clipping selector, and clean blend."
There are enough potentiometer and switches to make every bassist happy.
The clean signal can be boosted and lowpassed (LPF) as it should be with a blend on a bass pedal.
Then there is a 3-band EQ, a 3-way Mids switch and the "BYP" switch, that kicks in some sort of fixed EQ. You can shape your signal any way you want,
And there are 2 clipping options to top it off.
If you can't find an OD sound you like with this box, get a fuzz!
