Duo-Phase LED always on

Hey gang,

Built my 4th Duo-Phase, sounding great! Both effects function well, but one of the phases LED's wont turn off, always stays on. When bypassed/turn on, you can hear the effect come and go, but continual LED. Can anyone help a brother out? Thanks!

I think if the LED was in the wrong way, it wouldn't light up at all.

I am not the expert many here are, but I would check footswitch and wiring. Has to be a short somewhere in the LED/switching portion and the adjacent wiring. Awesome sounding pedal. Love mine.

+1. Seems like the LED is getting power regardless of the footswitch. I had that happen once where the solder at the 9v ins were just touching the legs of the LED.

When you say "one of the the phase LEDs," you mean one of the LEDs that is surrounded by LDR's right? Everyone thinks your engage LED is stuck on.

Have you done a complete visual inspection? Look for bad solder joints, shorts, wrong component values, parts in backwards, etc.

It's customary to post detailed photos.
