I'm not really big on modulation pedals. Or at least, I wasn't before. Why did I get this PCB? The same reason my grandma used to get 3000 piece puzzles of M.C. Escher drawings that had the same image rotated 45 degrees on the back side. It looked like a fun challenge.
I've had the board for quite a while. I took my time, shelved it, came back to it...
I'm enjoying this. Having two phasers is cool- it's two more than I had before. I found myself riffin' on tunes like "Have a Cigar" and other phasery jams. I run a stereo guitar rig, so this fit right in. It's also fun to use in series.
At first I didn't even touch the trim pots. The next day I did some tweaking. If there's one thing I would do different, it would be to to have trim 1 as a knob and call it "voice" or something. Because you can go from "EEE-YOU" sounds to "AHH-OOO" type filtering. I found a place I like in-between those.
For the enclosure I did tayda metallic blue. Labeled with paint pens and covered with epoxy resin. The resin really helps the metallic flakes pop.
