Duocast oc71 pinout help

I've got a duocast w an oc71 in works. Purchased from tubedepot.

I see some Google info that implies the pins, progressing away from the silver mark in order are
Pin 1 Collector
Pin 2 Emitter
Pin 3 Base


Does anyone have experience w these?


W multimeter my measurements are
Pin 1 and 2.... 215
Pin 2 and 3.... 224
Pin 1 and 3.... Nothing

I think this means it is actually
Pin 1 collector
Pin 2 base
Pin E emitter

Appreciate any advice

I have some of these on my bench, I'll check one today but I do believe CBE is correct.

If your DMM has a diode test function it's fairly easy.

Determine which lead is the base then measure the forward voltage drop between the base and each of the other two leads. The lead with the highest forward voltage drop is the emitter.

As a Rule, The Dot should be Collector, but Rules can be Broken!?

I use a Peak DCA55.
My OC71's have always had a Red dot which has been Collector!.
