Yes, this is YATS. But for whatever reason, it just works the best for me. I strictly use it to tighten up the gain channel on my amp. I've tried so many different overdrives, so many Tube Screamers, and this one works the best to me. It's quiet and adds just the right amount of magic to my 100w Marshall JCM2000

I mean, I know what the pedal is doing, and it's not that complicated but, whatever it's doing, I love it. Especially with down tuned guitars.

I included an annoying demo of just me chugging around in Drop C.

If you are looking to tighten up a high gain amp and haven't tried this one out. I would highly recommend it. Easy build too.

This was my goto for a while, but some of the attack settings can get a little too ice picky for me. Definitely in my top 3 TS variants
