Sometimes when I'm tired I think that my handwriting is all that. Oh well. It more than makes up for with the sound. It's an Lectric-fx Dandy Horse. I calibrated it with an oscilloscope and couldn't be happier with the sound. For some reason, every one that plays it can't help but play a little Nirvana. It isn't limited to that sound, though.

If you get the clock calibrated correctly (which doesn't require a scope - just a frequency counter), biasing the bbd(s) shouldn't be too bad. All the voltages are supplied so you should be in the ballpark before biasing.

Ah! Just finished biasing mine two nights ago ! It's really a fun pedal, but not really a flanger... It's really more of a Chorus... Makes sense that ehx changed the name to polychorus in the end :p

That's just Dandy! Nice clean build and the hand lettering is classy. Lotta parts on that board! I expected to see an FV-1 inside, but this puppy is old-school analog with two bucket brigade delays and CMOS logic. ♪ Sell the kids for food, weather changes moods...

what resistance did you put on the led?

Great build, amazing effect !

I also built one of these. I found the volume calibration and the wet/dry ratio very important to get something really amazing. It was noisy or a bit too invasive untill I found the sweetspots.

Gain1-2 and Feedback trimmers are hard to set, because you can get different aspects from the circuit, depending on their positions.
