I populated this in February just to see what hand soldering SMD parts was like and recently I decided I'd test and box it after all. Those resistors and capacitors are rough. The whole board mounts on the back of a neutrik jack. The enclosure is a 1590a in matte black sand from Tayda

I only tested it with a signal generator input to output to make sure it passed sound before boxing. Honestly I don't even know what to do with a buffer

How would not fig sound, exactly? Blissful I would imagine.

Take a 90 ft cable and put it after the buffer: you should experience no high frequency drop (which you probably will without it).

Ok yup it sure does buff
