This is one of those builds that is interesting during the build process but it’s necessary to spend a little time with it to master its capabilities from a musical standpoint. That being said, this build, however straightforward, is one of Effects Layouts most bang for the buck projects.

The yellow LED is the bypass indicator, and the red LED illuminates with the left setting of the “Mod” SPDT toggle, and seems to pulse with the delay tails. The pedal is capable of up to 900ms of delay with optical modulation of the repeats (see Vactrol bottom left of gut shot). A SPDT footswitch is used due to JFET switching.

In terms of aesthetics, the enclosure is Love My Switches August 26 limited run Sunflower Pulp. The word transmogrify means to change thoroughly into different shape or form, but as a sound alike, reminds me of the old school comic book ads for things like x-ray specs and hovercrafts. My X-ray Specs decal is Cricut vinyl. I use this vinyl often in my builds thanks to help from my wife. Gives us a chance to merge our hobbies and come up with creative ideas together.

I recommend this build for anyone seeking some interesting delay options.
