The more Toner Bender variants I build, the more of a fan I become. I owned the Keeley Fuzz Bender and really liked it. This is pretty damn close. I went with a GT404 for Ge transistor and 2N5550 for the silicon transistors. Sounds great. I had lots of fun dialing in some killer fuzz. It can get out of hand pretty fast, especially with the bias knob. But, can get a lot of tone out of it. The Bass knob is especially useful. If/when PPCB releases a board for this, I will grab that too, for sure.

I love cartoons so I went with one of my favorite characters, Bender Bending Rodríguez. I'm also a big fan of John DiMaggio.

Overall fun stuff. I'm happy with how everything came out.

What amp do you use? I struggled with tone benders for a long time but they seem to work much better with the amp I use now, and fuzz faces not so much

Most of the time I'm using my Marshall Origin 20 head. I have a few other different amps but the Origin is just a great platform for fuzz.
