EHX Pulsar Tremolo

Well, I guess I'm truly back on my TWS bullshit and and rebuilding all those EHX pedals I love but truly doing them justice this time. This build is the pulsar tremolo from the 90s. I remember not knowing if the schematic floating around the web was accurate and I bought a broken big box pedal used for dirt cheap and traced it with my homie David aka storybordist (effectslayouts) and he made a project out of it. It's a fun pedal with lots of unique sounds and a relatively simple control set (for EHX) that is based around a ca3080 OTA.

This one has such an extreme range of tones and is far less convoluted than the 6 knob trembling loon. I played with a lot of values and tapers for the rate and suggested the values in the build doc. This thing is a lot of fun to play and can do basic trem sounds with ease, and more unconventional sounds that are fun to experiment with. You can get some ring mods sounds at the extreme ends of the pedal.

Anti tariff trashcan build with lots of reclaimed parts from the trash pile. No film with OG graphics and @szukalski relay bypass. This one came out great and is currently in use on my pedalboard. You should build one if you want to try a trem with a little more flair.

The ehx streak continues! You’ve done all the boss pedals, you’re doing all the ehx pedals. Full line of Amazon basics pedals when?

He's gonna do jhs next
I'm not rebuilding all of them, certain ones only. Not everything they did was awesome. I've considerably changed my mind on a lot of the circuits I thought were cool or useful, as well as changed my stance on what I thought were some of the duds.
