Electrostatic packaging

Do I need to take caution will opening and handling components? Charge pumps inside.

General ESD precautions should be followed. If you humidity is above 40%, it's less of a concern but charge pump, fets and BBDs are prone to failure/damage from ESD. Assuming you aren't wearing clothing that builds up static, simply grounding yourself before grabbing sensitive components is usually a "good enough " practice.
