I have a big project that I'm really looking forward to coming up for early-mid 2024.
I'm going to build an initial run of 20 pedals for a fairly prominent Chicago punk band with custom artwork based on their logo and colors and it's going to be named after one of their older songs. All of the profit is going to go to a charity that we decide on, and we're hoping for at least $1,000 or more out of the first run depending on the price and component cost of the circuit we end up choosing. I've made a few variations of the Guv'nor (one ended up being almost exactly the Crunch Box without realizing it, ha) and I'm working on something that would be close to a high-gain Marshall, punk rock, driving sound.
I've already got a few prototypes put together and when I'm happy with a few, I'll then take it up to the band for them to decide which they like, then we'll do the artwork, and start production, social media outreach, etc. They're excited about it, I'm stoked that they are up for it, and can't wait to see how much we can make for the local charities!!
