Have had this built and boxed for months but for the life of me could not think of a theme. Well, Elden Ring: Nightreign has made for some great and hectic times for my gaming buddies and I since its recent launch. The base game and its initial six weeks after launching a handful of years ago was an ecstatic highlight of my adult life. I thought the concept of the evergaol ("ever-jail"), a huge stone circle marking an unlockable, optional, often highly difficult boss battle felt appropriately dramatic for this fucked-up delay circuit.
I used Photopea (yay vectorizing!), Maco transparency paper and paint pens as usual, but switched up clearcoat this goaround from my usual Rustoleum clear gloss enamel to a Krylon lacquer jawn that has an adjustable, super-wide spray nozzle. I'm impressed, the level of reflection in the finished result is kinda ridiculous, even.
While the pedal itself will probably be used for more esoteric improvisatory purposes, I've still loved just playing clean guitar through it and blending in a bed of oscillation beneath via the Wet knob. A fun and hypnotic experience, even if Nell's layout by their own admission is as batshit as the sounds it produces!
