Been a great year for music.

Data Doom by Frankie and the Witch Fingers, Psychedelic Porn Crumpet’s Fronzoli, and Resavoir’s second self titled album were my favorite releases.

Telehealth’s Content Oscillator, and Globia’s Acid Disorder both got a lot of plays from me. I’m sure I’m forgetting some stuff but like most years I’ve spent more time discovering older releases.

I'm not a huge King Gizzard & The Wizard Lizard fan, I just like a handful of songs from here and there and not much else (although frankly, that happens to me with a lot of bands).

However, in 2023 they released PetroDragonic Apocalypse; or, Dawn of Eternal Night: An Annihilation of Planet Earth and the Beginning of Merciless Damnation which I actually quite liked all the way through.

Not much else came out this year I really liked, if remasters count then this one is a pretty good song

Edit: Forgot about this, it was ok too

10,000 years is my favorite high on fire song. I've seen them live about 10 times but they I've only seen them play it once live. Such a killer riff. One time I saw High on Fire open for Converge in Kansas City and High on Fire blew out the speakers at the venue. They killed it! Unfortunately Converge had a minor meltdown and hissy fit on stage after the speakers were blown.

Oh damn it I knew I was missing something and it was Gizzard. Petrodragon is my favorite album of theirs since Nonagon
