Fudge Round Fuzz: 1)transistor biasing, 2)popping issues

Greetings to everyone. I have built a DOD Chthonic Fuzz (Fudge Round) that has some popping sounds every now and then, most probably I think that's an electrolytic capacitor. I want to ask if I have to bias the collector of Q2? I have voltages on Q1 collector 1.24v, base:0.56v, emitter:0v and on Q2 collector:3.3v, base:1.24v and emitter:0.64v. What voltages I need to get? What HFe I need for Q1 and Q2? I have for Q1-195 and Q2-205. Any help will be most appreciated.

A quick peek at the schematic shows it’s basically a fuzz face. Which means you probably should have Q2 about 4.5V?

Thanks!! I will use a trimmer on the collector of Q2 to find the right voltage .
