Fuzz Captain Bright Switch

BOM calls for an On/Off/On switch.
Does this mean there are multiple options, or will it be the same bright option on both the left and right side of the toggle?

I’ve almost finished building it so I’ll be able to find out myself soon enough but this part just confused me, I assumed a 2 way switch would make the most sense but I’m not too familiar with the schematic.

Anyone know why there’s a 3 way toggle for a bright switch?

If you look at the schematic you'll see a couple of caps (of different values) on the outer lugs.

So the middle position will let all the highs go through.

The smaller of the two caps will bleed off some highs, making the overall tone less bright.

The larger of the two caps will bleed off even more highs than the smaller cap, making the tone even darker.


So you have three settings. Dark\Bright/Medium
