Goddamnit, I thought that by now I had supplied myself with all the sludge, stoner and funeral doom tones out there. There's 7 PPCB and 7 Fuzz Dog boards in the wishlist...

Catalinbread leads the list with most things I'm interested in building, at some point. Never cared for the brand, but since I took a good look, he sure does all that I enjoy, in a very unassuming way. Love it! Affordable too, actually. If it wasn't for me living in the EU.

I’ll throw in another vote for the Acapulco gold and the hyped fuzz. The Acapulco gold really surprised when I first plugged it in. Huge reward and sound for low parts count build. The hyped fuzz is a lot more work but is my favorite doom fuzz by far.

I’ll 2nd both of these. There’s some easy mods for the FZ-2 floating around on these here forums.

The Acapulco Gold is LOUD. One time I tried plugging the output of the pedal directly into my 1x15 bass cab. When I cranked the pedal, it was driving the speaker enough that I could practice with it that way.
