FV-1 Crystal Package Size

Hi all, hoping someone may be able help!

I ordered a 32.768 crystal for an upcoming Haarp build and when it arrived it was smaller than the one I used in my Octagon build. I didn’t even realise they came in different package sizes so didn’t think to check at the time, will it be ok or should I just order the larger variant? I tried a quick Google and forum search but didn’t have much luck.

It'll be fine as long as it's the required oscillation / clock frequency I used a tiny one for my organ donor build

Seeing as it's you and I've benefited greatly from your excellent tutorial the datasheet is well worth a read

I may sound like I know what I'm talking about but I don't haha it's all datasheet info

In it, it states any logic level clock source can be used you'll notice the ppcb clock module daughter board uses a CD4049 here and you'd omit the crystal
